Look at the map of Gujarat. The Saurashtra region is situated between two gulf. i.e. Gulf of Kutch & Gulf of Khambhat.
The traveling traffic of the public of Saurashtra is so much to Surat, south Gujarat and Maharashtra. They must go from Baroda, Anand & Ahmedabad, if want to go to Saurashtra.
This Kalpasar Project is the project to built one 30 KM long bridge direct from Surat to Saurashtra. It reduce very long traveling distance about 100-150 KMs.
This project is very difficult. But I hope it complete as early as possible.
